Prickly Red Head

About a year ago a big cactus that had been living happily in its pot for about 20 years started to die. I fed it and fiddled with it and felt sad! And then i forgot about it as its in a corner with lots of other things around it.

Today I was shuffling things around as i was watering and managed to get around behind the ‘dead’ cactus only to find that it was alive and kicking on the other side. I was thrilled ;;o). See a quick shot in extras for a view of other bits of it.

A hot and muggy day here and the only thing to be done was hunker down in the air con and read or watch various things on Netflix, a perfect day!! :o).
