Unexpected

I encountered a few Snakeshead Fritillaries on an afternoon stroll round the grounds in Southampton.  Lots of other nice Spring flowers and the weather was brighter than forecast too.   

I got some time off for good behaviour while Jamie plaited his Mum's hair.  A gentle Mother's Day enjoyed by all.  Long drive home tonight largely uneventful.

A blipless day yesterday.  Our morning drive from London to Southampton took four hours, two of which were spent mostly stationary on the M25 :-(   Another three hours on the road taking Jamie to see a friend filled most of the daylight hours - no cameras or phones allowed in that hospital but the lads were very pleased to see each other.  A had said to his Mum not long ago "I met someone like me".  Special friends.
