The Lozarithm Lens

Calne (Sunday 31st March 2019)

An afternoon stroll took me unexpectedly to the other side of the ring road, where I explored a small wood and scrubland area I hadn't been to before. I'd been hoping to see some blossom on a line of trees that someone on Facebook had just posted, but the picture must have been taken weeks earlier as it had all gone. I did find masses of hedgerow blackthorn blossom (see Extra), but for Blip I have chosen this wonderfully textured tree trunk. The ivy or whatever has been growing around it does not extend to the ground as it has been cut back at some point.
