A Walk in the Woods

B and I went to NT Felbrigg this morning.  It was a beautiful sunny day, but a very cold wind coming from the North.  I'm glad I had my woolly hat with me!  Most of the walk was through woodland, and it was lovely to see the first signs of spring growth, ferns unfurling, and buds bursting open, accompanied by the songs of many birds all around us...wonderful!
B kindly treated M and me, and our friend J, who has been recovering from being poorly, to tea and cake at our favourite Holt tearooms this afternoon,  thank you B, a lovely treat!
