Dodging showers

Visited my friend this morning, she has osteoarthritus which is now affecting her hands, but gets such pleasure from doing her garden. No weeds here, they wouldn't dare. She gets to work along the slope with the aid of steps (extra) and the two poles at the end are for her to hold on to. She paints the fence and has just put one coat on the bench. I am going to her garden party in May to celebrate her 80th birthday.
