Houston, We got a problem...

A really easy day at work despite having to use that grey matter between the ears and the not so common sense. Someone forgot to tell the container to get off the train at the north Seattle heavy railyard and not the  South Seattle light railyard. There is only one legal way in and out that I know of and as you can see, I'm nearly 7,000 pounds overweight for this bridge..

So my options were to go through Mr. Rodgers neighborhood and hope I no one would catch me or possibly swim with the fishes... Well I went through the neighborhood just fine but being 4,340 pounds over on the rear axle meant I had to take the backroads to the customer - also known as driving around the weigh stations...

Knowing the rules and what you can likely get away with now and then got the job done.. BUT I wrote up a long report to my boss on how this shouldn't happen... All part of the job that's sadly what drivers are expected to do and why I didn't take a job like this... (I only do containers when there is no appliance deliveries)...

I got off work early, uploaded this blip and now headed down to the lake to take a long stroll and have lunch on the water...
