Changing the habits of a life time!

I came back from the Photography Show inspired to try new things and to improve my photography.  One talk in particular where the speaker said "a friend gave me a bunch of dead flowers" was particularly note worthy.  Note worthy as being married to Clickychick I see her take many flower photos often of dead flowers.

I have always rather poked fun at her for the dead flower shots.  On the other hand I couldn't argue with how impressive the speaker at the Photo Show made dead flowers look.  So here is my first (and possibly last) attempt at making a half way decent shot from a dead flower.

In case anyone is interested the flower was an "Amaryllis" the colour white infused with pink.
