Snake's Head Fritillary

A very wet and dreich day. With a little encouragement Molly went for the quickest walk possible this morning and is now enjoying lying on the couch having her tummy tickled by my mother.
I planted these snake's head fritillary in a bowl last autumn and am really pleased with the results. I have them standing on a corner just outside the greenhouse but took them inside to get the photo. There are several of mottled purply ones and also a few creamy white ones.
