St Andrews University

What a miserable day but mustn't complain as we had a beautiful day yesterday.

L went back to Glasgow today for a college reunion but before she left she very kindly gave me a lift to the bus stop where I had to wait for just a couple of minutes for the X58 which is the express bus from Edinburgh to St Andrews.

I had no real plans but wandering around in the rain wasn't top of my list! There were plenty of young folk and their parents having a 'Visit St Andrews University Day'  The red gowned student tour guides were doing their best in the rain.

The rain eased by the time I got the bus home. Unfortunately the bus does not come along to our end of the village so it was a bit of a weary three-quarters of a mile walk down the road.
