Church Tile

Puebla is justifiably famous for its Talavera tile. Genuine Talavera is highly regulated (in colors, design, and technique) and only comes from five cities in Mexico, of which Puebla is one. We have been seeing it everywhere as we walk the cities neighborhoods. I have been attempting to photographically capture a representative sample of it as well. Today on our bus trip to the pyramid of Cholula, another authorized city, we stopped at this Talavera covered church in Acatepec and I knew I had my shot.
