Gourock Pier

I had to go to Glasgow first thing to take part by secure link in a  Brexit meeting with UK Ministers and the Welsh First Minister.    

Then I headed back to Dunoon , taking the passanger ferry across the Clyde .

This caught my eye whilst waiting at Gourock Pier - the juxtaposition as well as the name, which must have graced vessels plying West Highland waters for generations.
