Sally Mair - Loving life

Getting there

Went into town this afternoon for a massage, so I was very chilled afterwards. Beforehand though I used up my free coffee and cake voucher in John Lewis and as always enjoyed the view from the restaurant. The Picardy Place roundabout where the works have been causing havoc for traffic over the last couple of years appears to be shrinking dramatically.
There was a great view across the Forth today and beautiful blue skies. So much warmer than the last few days, I didn't even take a jacket into town with me. Sadly the view to the west of not so good. Shame that with such a huge site available the bit they built first blocked the wonderful view of the three bridges. The new building is absolutely huge (extra).
Took the bus from there to Gilmore Place and after visiting a friend, I walked to Haymarket to pick up some tickets then to Murrayfield where C picked me up.
We had a vestry meeting this evening which wasn't too long then home to relax.
13513 steps today so 5/6. C and I are off to Dundee tomorrow so not likely to manage to walk much so I'm happy to have a day in hand and to have finished my target for the week.
