Peeking around the Curtains

I often wonder why animals start to exhibit different behaviours. Fleur, our cat, has taken to sitting like this, hiding partly behind the curtain, intently watching the birds feeding in our garden. I’m not quite sure why she feels the need to conceal herself, it’s not as though she can get out through the patio doors!
