Wales Millenium centre

A beautiful building!

The ‘tower’ is a fountain. It was working with water pouring out of the top. Wonderful on such a lovely day! But now the water has stopped and other buildings are reflected in the sides.

We had a difficult journey up. The two trains before ours were cancelled. So ours had the passengers from three trains. Only two carriages. We were lucky and quickly found seats. But there were people stood or sat on the floor nearly all the way! We were lucky that those who had reserved our seats never turned up!

We walked to the hotel by lovely paths next to canals. We were so glad to relax ! It was very hot! Later we walked down to the bay a had dinner in a Wagamama. Now back exhausted!
