Bookend to a great trip

I can't think of a more apropos final blip on this trip than this Burrowing Owl family, taken on our way to the Fort Lauderdale airport this morning.  This was the very same park we stopped at right after Hilly and Hubs picked me up on Monday.  A perfect end to a perfect trip.

I've enjoyed every moment of my time with my blip-mate and her Hubs.  We've had some good laughs and made treasured memories.  And, yes, it was very hard to say goodbye today.  Many hugs and at least one of us with a lump in her throat.

Now at the airport with some time to kill, so figured I'd post a quick blip.  I may have better photos than this in the lot I took this morning, but I do like that you can see both parents and one of the youngsters all in the same frt same.  There were at least two little owlets in the burrow, each cuter than a button.

Next stop - New Jersey and my own Hubs.
