Ramblings and Mutterings

Tin Hot

Once upon a time the little town, now a village, of Aberdulais was the tin producing capital of Wales, with tin being exported all across the world.  Protectionist policies by the U.S.A. (sound familiar?) meant tariffs were slapped on the tin and sadly the tin works went into disuse.  Until the National Trust came and saved it.

It also has some spectacular waterfalls, but with limited rainfall recently they weren't in full flow today.  But it was very popular there today, and well worth a visit if you've never been there.

It was a scorching day.  Good to see my friends Anne and Richard, and their dog Xen.
