A great day for a ride.

Another beautiful day. M & I went over to St Margarets, parked the car and walked down a closed off road l had discovered sometime ago. I had been searching for a way to get from there back to Deal without going on the busy country road and had discovered this road (noone is quite sure why but it is permanently closed but was what l had been looking for). It was lovely wandering along, cyclists came past as did this lass on a rather shy horse.
The area in the photo is known as the freedown, l have attached a photo of the sign with an explanation. We veered of the road and took a path through the fields over to the coast, M walked along the coast down to Kingsland, along the beach forefront home, l went back for the car.

Some of the chalk cliff has fallen and so the path has had to be moved about 20 metres inland but a glorious walk. The skylarks are very busy and singing madly but so difficult to see up high in the sky.
