Border Tails

Leaderfoot Bridges.

This afternoon I thought I would take advantage of the sunshine and go in search of a blip. First of all I tried Scott’s View, but it was busy with people and cars so I drove down to the wee bridge over the Leader water and parked the car in a lay-by. I walked down a path to the Drygrange fishing beat of the river Tweed, close to where the Leader runs into it.

I sat on a wee bench for a while, just enjoying the peace and the view. The three bridges are the old railway viaduct, the old road bridge and the newer one that carries the A68. I wasn’t pleased with the light so I think I’ll have to repeat the visit earlier in the day.
