Dedication of New Gate at Soldiers Memorial Park

A huge community effort has resulted in these beautiful new gates at the Soldiers Memorial Park in Blackheath.

The project was organised by the community to overcome two anomalies: first that there was no formal entrance to the park, and second, there was nothing that clearly said the correct name of the park.
The design has not been without contrversy, but now that they're complete, I doubt many would be unhappy.
