Kings-day!

Hurray, our national holiday to celebrate the king’s birthday was a splendid one.

I don’t love nor loathe the monarchy, and I don’t dress up all in orange just to have a few beers with friends, but getting the kids into this tradition is funny. Especially since I can add just the right amount scepticism in their understanding of the whole show!

The car in the photo is a Dutch product, a DAF badged as a Volvo (and actually green, but had to recolour it to match our national colour!)
