Deserted

Chiang Mia is so quiet at the moment.   Due to the pollution levels many tourists have stayed away.  The period following Songkran is generally quiet, with many young back packers moving on, but this year is exceptionally quiet.   This road is usually very busy and all restaurants usually have customers.  Even the restaurant we ate in was quiet, at one point we were the only customers there.  Fortunately as we were leaving two more couples arrived.  I enjoy the peace, but I also hope the tourists come back soon.   The pollution is starting to clear, the temperature during the day is around 40 degrees, which is hot,  but the evening's are lovely.   The pool is getting a lot of use.
