How green is the city

And how many cranes are there ? I count 23.

I am always surprised by how green Salford can look when viewed from on high. Very evident at the moment as the trees come into leaf.

Contrasting with all the development happening. The trick is going to be to keep the green - and improve on it. And to head for zero carbon by 2038, which is the current ambition. Whilst also accommodating a lot of development - to protect as much of the green belt as possible around the conurbation means the city centre and its environs may have to find room for upwards of another 100,000 people in the next 20 years.

All that will take some doing.

But for now - just focussing on all the shapes here, to meet Bob's brief.
