Catastrophy averted!

What could have been a really big fuck up has actually turned out to be a good situation!!!   gotta love when that happens.

I organize art workshops here in Baddeck, in the fall and have done for the past 4-5 years.   I bring in artists usually from the States and have to figure out all that is involved with hosting 15-18 participants, the artist and all that entails!  Lots of work, but so worth it!   So imagine my absolute horror when, after back and forth with artist and confirming dates, and getting a fabulous flyer produced (by said artist) it turns out that my usual location wasn't available!   You'd think i would have it sorted by now....book the space THEN confirm dates etc!!!   But for some reason that feel off my radar!  So after a bit of a melt down, i then set forth to try and find a new space....anything but have to call the artist and have everything changed!    Anyway, today i managed to secure a new space....and low and behold, it is actually a nicer space....woo hoo!

Beautiful spring day here...oh how i love this transition.   walking in the village without boots coats hats mitts etc., just so wonderful!
