A shot of John who is 60 today and looking pretty good on it, despite the late night beer, wine and whisky yesterday, as we saw out the last evening of his 50s.  We came across this old stone gate post that had an intriguing hole in it, as you can see.

We went for a walk earlier on, to get a bit of exercise and fresh air.  We walked through well maintained fields full of sheep and lambs to a nearby wood which was covered in the most beautiful carpet of bluebells.  England and in particular the Yorkshire Dales can be truly delightful at this time of year.
