Village Shoes

Walking into this shop always feels like a trip into the past.  (My mum loved it.). I’ve never seen it with sale items outside before, but perhaps I haven’t been there at the right time.  The Chinese take away is next door, so most of my visits would have been early evening.  We needed to call at the pharmacy in Dodworth after lunch with my brother or I would have missed this event.  The sale shoes were a bit too sparkly for me and quite a contrast to those solid farmer leather brogues in the window.
