Now We Are Eight!

An early dash down the canal to check on the cygnets with I must say fear in my heart for their wellbeing. I was very happy to see the Cob and Pen in a section of the canal with open water and a little heap of grey between them!  When I first got close I could count seven a little disappointing after last years nine ! As they sailed passed a tiny head popped up between the Pens wings! so we are in fact a respectable 8!
Still awaiting updates on FIL and trusting that no news is good news.
