Shaft Of Light

A bright evening as the sun dropped lower in the sky breaking through the cloud which had persisted through most of the day. A shaft of light picking out fresh bright green grass, already quite long, beside the inlet.

The foreground deep in shadow emphasised the light streaking across the land and side lighting gives the trees some nice definition with the water behind and the far bank beyond adding depth to the scene.
