Vibrant.....

This plant continues to make a splash of vibrant colour even into late autumn. We have several in our garden. I knew they were Salvias but they seems to be much bigger than other Salvias I know. So I checked the plant out with a very useful New Zealand Facebook Group.... “Plant Identification New Zealand”. Many of the group’s members are experts and so helpful. It seems this Salvia’s full name is “Salvia involucrata Bethelii.”
