Minding the Kids...

.....during breakfast.  Mom and Dad were very leery of me and herded them away quickly.

It was an absolutely glorious sunny day, one that we surely deserve after so much rain.  We have had 71 inches of rain in the last year, the most in D.C. since they started keeping records in1871.

 I headed out to Hughes Hollow and spent several hours just enjoying the sunshine, birds and the buzz of insects. Try as I might to get a shot of the faces of these little goslings, it wasn't going to happen, They were either eating or swimming away from me.
