Welsh Poppy

Walking to the bus this morning I noticed a number of these wild poppies growing in some of the local gardens.

While I was in town I had to buy a new pair of trainers for badminton. The ones I have worn for a number of years have no tread left and the soles are completely smooth. Not quite consigned to the bin yet but they have reached the end of their sporting days.

It's been another lovely day .... plenty of sun but accompanied by a rather chilly wind. Rain is forecast for tomorrow ..... I don't really want it but the garden does!
