Halo

LightNight 2019 in which the city's galleries, museums, libraries and the like stay open late. This year there were a few specially commissioned pieces, of which this was one, in Exchange Flags.

Large poles are placed in the square with illuminated discs attached to them. As people press or tap on the discs a kind of music sculpture is created depending on who touches what. The effect was quite special and it was clear some people had spent ages messing around with the piece.

Kudos to whoever came up with the money for it as it was one of the highlights of the night.
