The sky tonight....

We have had the most amazing sunset this evening. Maisie and I were walking in the Olive Grove and open land beyond. Thus I was able to see the changing sky in all its glory without obtrusive buildings and other distractions. This vista is looking to the west up the Wairau Valley with the Richmond Range in the distance.The days are really closing in now. It is dark around 5.30. I must admit to preferring the long sunlit evenings of summer.
