Gotcha!

There was a whole bunch of confused and disconsolate pigeons, as two brilliant local lads perilously ascended their ladder to outfox the pigeons with spikes and netting to keep them out of the solar panels, where they like to roost under the warm spaces over the roof. A few dumb birds are still hanging about, but hope they get the message - otherwise it's the Tom Lehrer solution.
