Afternoon Tea

Jeri's Mothers' Day treat for me was taking me out for afternoon tea, and finally today we managed to co-ordinate our diaries, and find windows in our busy schedules to do it.

We went to Teapots and Teacups in Newark - we have been there before, and knew it is good! There were yummy sandwiches, crisps, fruit scones and - best of all in my view - delicious cakes! Also lovely peppermint tea to wash it down!

I took this shot of Jeri and the food on my phone, having left my camera at home due to a missing lens cap I didn't have time to look for! 

Then it was back to Jeri's to chill for  while, and then collect the boys. I got to meet Horatio's lovely pet rats and give H his Playstation voucher for his birthday. He'd blown it on stuff for his Fortnite game before I went home!

Brian fetched me home, and I'd been home no time at all before I got  migraine! I also had jobs to do - make food for a hungry Jae, empty bins and wash up.

Sorting out the recycling rubbish, I managed to smash a jar in the backyard. Because of the migraine I couldn't see too well so I had to get Brian to check all the glass was cleared up, as a lovely fluffy cat spends a lot of her time in our yard and I didn't want her to get hurt!
