Keeping Up With The Bluebirds

Clockwise from upper left:

1. I take an opportunity to snap a photo of the now hatched birdies. I think they've been hatched maybe three days. Maybe only two.

2. Mama arrives with a fat insect of some sort. Spider?

3. Mama goes into the box.

4. Having finished giving them (or at least one of them) the insect, Mama takes some time to rest and tittivate for a moment before going back on the hunt for more insects.

Yesterday I saw Papa doing the same thing, so I know they're both working on the raising of the young.
