Ramsons

Singing, voting, painting, in that order. The second coat of 'Summer Jasmine' (aka off-white) on two living-room walls.

An unsettling sort of day. Usually, I can paint quite happily, listening to music or a radio play and ignoring the outside world. Today, thoughts of what I'd much rather be doing - so many things - were floating across my mind. Feels as though this flat, constantly in chaos as one part or another resembles a building site, is sapping my energy and our funds. However, needs must, and the work will continue...

So it was good to get out for a while late in the afternoon for a walk in Hepburn woods with MrM. No red squirrels, but we did spot a roe deer. Some good views of the Cheviot Hills from the track, and lots of wild flowers (extras).
