Sage

On my way to London today for a very brief trip. I expect I'll be posting a London blip tomorrow but on the journey south I like to try to get a photograph from the train. I'm afraid I lose interest in the view from the train window quite quickly, and certainly after York, but East Lothian, Northumberland, Gateshead and Newcastle are rich seams. Here is the Sage, Gateshead from the train.

The further south we go the better the weather is forecast to be. I think it's raining at home which is such a shame after the recent lovely weather. It's dry but cloudy as LNER takes us down the east coast line and I believe we'll need sandals and sunglasses in that London. I'll be doing the journey in reverse tomorrow so it really is a quick trip.
