Plastering and Pottery

Extra shows Mike's day, mixing plaster and finishing kitchen ceiling.

Mine was the usual Saturday, washing clothes, market, Adega (both of us), shopping in Reguengos...

This evening went to look at the 25th Iberian Pottery Festa, in Portugal's biggest pottery town, São Pedro do Corval, with potters from all over Portugal and nearby Spain. The Blip shows the typical pottery of this region. For us, the best bit was a display by our favourite ceramist so far, José Dias, discovering he is still alive and still working, and now we know where... great. We have two of his tiles in our bathroom in the UK.

Gratefuls:
- the smell of coffee when Mike grinds it in the morning, while I'm in bed, reading my Bible
- the sound of the ropes holding the shade cloth in the wind, feels like we're on a sailboat
- seeing Zion's 5th birthday party, held in our garden in England, sounds like a big success
