Medal Walk (but no prizes)

Thanks to Trixie and Ann we are now taking Medal Walks ourselves. Today saw us beginning at Clermiston and walking up the top stretch of Drum Brae, (helpfully passed by several buses as we toiled up the hill) to access Corstorphine Hill.
Here we discovered the Corstorphine Hill Walled Garden, a community-run garden with pretty, varied planting, neat brick-lined paths and at the centre, this delightful bench.

Our route took us up past the Tower, after which we spent some time searching for the cup-marks on the rocks, leaving with no clear idea of what we had seen, except five dining chairs (extra 1).Later research on the internet proved how close we were but did not recognise them.

Using the new LumixTZ80 I was disappointed again with the colour resolution, also focus of the rhododendrons so resorted to the TZ10, which performed so much better (extra 2). It appears the settings need some adjustment.

We had taken so long over this that we cut short the route and returned a quicker way - at least it was all downhill.
