Sea thrift

This has to be another of my favourite plants when it is in flower.  The smell of honey coming of it is intense and the bees are very busy all around it.  
Today started beautifully with sunshine and no wind but gradually the clouds gathered and whilst we didnt get too much rain it was gloomy for the rest of the day.. my daughter who had said she would be here for breakfast finally arrived at around 6... so rather a quiet day ... nothing achieved as l kept thinking she would appear any minute.. ah well she is here until lunch tomorrow so we will have to have a lovely morning together. (if she wakes up)
