Kelp!

I spent most of the day glazing and preparing for the 2nd glaze kiln which will go on tomorrow!   I delighted myself in being finished earlier than i had anticipated....so Terry and headed off for a late afternoon wander down at Englishtown Beach!   And of course a trip to the beach is not complete without wine, cheese and crackers!   It was absolutely glorious down there, and after walking a fair bit, we found the perfect driftwood log to sit on and take in the view!

On our way back i started noticing all this amazing dried kelp that had stretched itself over the rocks....i was obsessed!

The ferry has been of commission for the past few weeks, and it was still not working when we got there...but on our way off the beach the ferry had started up again!   Woo Hoo, the tourists will be happy!
