What struck my fancy

The Old Town

Showing the (old) Customs House, on the left is a statue of Captain George Vancouver, the stretch of water in front is The Purfleet where merchant ships would moor and behind me is the river Great Ouse which flows to the North Sea and was the passageway to prosperous continental ports - the Hanseatic League.

Now the building is a Tourist Information Centre.
