Chocolate Ice cream

It has been a different sort of day.
A while ago I agreed to judge for the Photography entries in the Bledlow Country Show. This is quite a big event for the Young Farmers' Clubs in the area hosted by a different club each year. It turned out to be a great day.

I arrived, accompanied by John and Pepper, in time to do all the judging. There were quite a few categories and age groups so it took over a couple of hours to do everything. Not at all like judging at Photography clubs but I hope the comments I wrote on each slip of paper will be useful.

It has been a hot day so we were treated to an excellent lunch and then able to wander around the Show. I was especially interested in the sheep shearing demo and people watching. The young lad in my blip was engrossed in his ice cream and wouldn't accept any help from parents with this!

I also photographed the sheep shearing demo, done by the husband of a bellringer friend. The sheep doesn't look too happy but skipped off at the end. A great day and something different for the weekend.
