Quod oculus meus videt

I spent most of the day in the garden, planting out summer bedding and potting up other patio plants.  I was looking forward to a late afternoon on the patio relaxing only for the clouds to roll in and obliterate the sun.  Still it wasn't cold and I just sat out watching various flying insects working their way around the pyracantha flowers.

I even went out again later and watched the first half of the Champion's League Final on the tablet.  I found it difficult to choose a team to support.  Both teams are equally my second favourite teams (I live in hope that Birmingham City might one day reach these dizzy heights!).  Not a classic final, but who can complain when two English teams are in the final.  All of the excitement took place in the semi finals and it was probably too much to hope that the final would live up to the hype.
