Stobo

K kindly drove us down to Stobo, with a quick stop at Barony Castle and the Polish map of Scotland on the way. 

The map is well worth a visit, Wiki link although it is not properly flooded at the moment. 

Stobo Japanese garden is open only on a couple of dates a year. We have been watching out for this one and it was worth the wait. 

The gardens are well planned, well maintained and very beautiful. The rain held off, and our £5 entrance included a cup of tea at the village hall. Altogether a very nice day out.
