Rain and a garden full of baby birds

Rain for most of the day, so a good day to start to get to grips with computer housekeeping.  While waiting for my, now much slower laptop to respond, I was pointing the camera through the window and pressing the shutter (so now I have an awful lot of images to delete).

The garden was full of baby birds, mainly young sparrows, but also baby great and blue tits.  The bullfinches are still around (we’ve seen two males), so maybe we’ll see baby bullfinches soon.  In previous years we’ve stopped feeding seed in the summer, which may account for the fact we haven’t had a garden so alive with activity.  The rain can’t have helped either - who would believe that the beginning of June would bring such horrible weather,
