March to End Gun Violence

Today a rally was held at Sam Smith park in Seattle with speakers including those who have lost loved oned to gun violence.  After the rally gatherers marched across the I-90 floating bridge that crosses from Seattle over Lake Washington to Bellevue.  Marchers walked to Arbruy-Davis park in Mercer Island in the middle of the waters.  The color that symbolized the plea to end gun violence is Orange.  I'm a member of Grandmothers Against Violence so I went to the end of the march to take photographs not being able to do the entire walk.
A bit on Sam Smith Park:
Sam Smith Park comprises the largest and most central part of the I-90 lid, with a play area renovation in 2016, picnic tables, adult exercise equipment and tennis courts. The park includes Blue Dog Pond, a detention pond that serves as one of Seattle's off-leash areas for dogs, and Urban Peace Circle, a sculpture by Seattle sculptor Gerard Tsutakawa, dedicated to children killed by gun violence in Seattle's inner city."
