Damp deer

As you can see, I have been on my travels today.  I don't usually  take myself out on wet grey days, but this being a blip milestone, I thought I should make the effort.  Here's my reward, a young and rather damp red deer sheltering under some trees.

Home by lunchtime, which I was glad about as it got even wetter this afternoon.  I've spent most of the time since on the computer, though I did grab a short reading break and spent too long glancing out of the window watching the grass in the garden turn green and the plants visibly swelling with soaked up moisture.

I haven't tagged this for MM as I can't think of any way to 'tie' (geddit?) it to the MonoMonday theme this week.
