Exhibit

We’re in Dublin on the first leg of our journey to Becky and Rob’s wedding. Having dropped our bags at the Premier Inn, we took the bus in to the city centre and lunched at the very good KC Peaches before taking in Trinity College and Molly Malone’s statue before walking along the Liffey to EPIC, the Irish Emigration Museum. We’ve been there before but it is very good so worth a revisit. I took lots of blips in this gallery which had projected images on the wall and was great for silhouettes of visitors. Can you spot half a tourist?

The Museum is also home to the Irish Family History Centre and we spent an hour or so using their records to do some prep for our visit to see where Tony’s Mum comes from after the wedding.

We were now footsore and weary so decided to return to the hotel and relax before our longer journey and day tomorrow.
