Lacewing

Today has been both very wet and very busy so not much chance for photos. I helped at the school [ classroom moving day] till 10.30, then took Mum to the bank and out to lunch followed by cats to vet and then coffee with H this evening! I was out in the garden with N hanging a new bird feeder [ nyger seeds to try and attract finches] when this little insect flew past. I couldn't get one how pretty it was. Apparently Green Lacewings are very good for our gardens and the adults spend the winter in buildings :)
